I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

Rad Roasted Radishes

Why don't you ever think of roasting radishes? I mean, you roast every other root vegetable, right?

These roasted radishes are easy to make and you'll be surprised at how they transform into a side dish that you'll want to make over and over!

1 lb radishes, trimmed and halved
2 tbsps olive oil
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
3 green onions, white and green slices divided

Toss everything together except the green slices of green onion.

Dump out onto a parchment lined baking sheet, placing the radish halves cut side down.

Bake at 350F for 30 minutes, then turn them over and continue cooking about 15 minutes.

Those pungent little red radishes turn beautifully pink and mellow after roasting!

Top with green slices and serve.

Give them a try for your next family dinner
