I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

Creamy Pork Loin and Mushrooms

It takes no time at all to get this simple and tasty meal on the table!

9 slices boneless pork loin
2 tbsps olive oil
salt and pepper
4 mushrooms
2 green onions
3/4 cup 10% table cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cornstarch

Add olive oil to a skillet and lightly brown the pork until no pink remains. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove to a plate.

Add a little more olive oil to the skillet and toss the sliced mushrooms and green onions for about 2-3 minutes.

Mix cream, broth, garlic powder and cornstarch together and add to the pan.  Heat until thickened and return the pork to the pan to warm.

Serve alongside your favourite veggie and maybe these Sweet and Spicy Sweet Potatoes.
